Keith Veltre, CEO and Co-Founder of Roy Jones Jr. Boxing Promotions, signed 17-year-old Max Ornelas to a professional multi-year deal. RJJ Boxing Promotion scheduled Ornelas to fight three professional bouts in 43 days.

Ornelas is the youngest boxer to ever be signed by RJJ Promotions. On June 10th Ornelas won his pro debut with a TKO in the first round. Just one day shy of his 18th birthday, on the week of his high school graduation at the D Hotel Las Vegas Hotel.  Ornelas added another win to his professional record at his second bout with a unanimous  in Mexicali, Mexico.

Las Vegas Boxing Coach Gil Martinez started training Ornelas when he was just 8 years old. He coached him throughout his amateur career where Ornelas acquired an amateur record of 38-5 and was ranked #2 with USA Boxing.

Ornelas heads to Grand Oasis Cancun Arena, MX for his third bout on Saturday July, 23, 2016.
